The 2005 Fran Whitten
Memorial Award
The 2005 Fran Whitten Memorial Award is given to
Peggy Muller and Shirley Shuman. Following the passing of Fran
in 2004, Sharon L. Polster made a donation on Fran's behalf. The TCA, Inc.
Board decided to create a Memorial Award for the person or persons who
demonstrate the same selfless dedication to helping make the show a success that
Fran demonstrated throughout her association with TCA, Inc. Her support as
a member of the Board, VP, Genetics Committee Member, and as our Show Secretary
for so many years, was invaluable in providing a professional demeanor in all
that she participated in. We miss her contributions and her spirit.
And because of her and other volunteers like her, TCA, Inc. has continued to
grow in sharing our goals with more and more Feline Enthusiasts and Breeders
throughout the world.
So that Fran's spirit is lauded and kept alive amongst us, we make this award on
her behalf to identify and thank those who have similarly demonstrated the same
commitment to TCA, Inc.
